Does Qenzo work on Windows?

Yes. There is a released Windows app, version 1.1.16, installed from Qenzo-Setup.exe (104 MB) at qenzo.ai/download. It supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 on 64-bit.

Why does Windows say “Windows protected your PC” when I run the installer?

Because the installer is not code-signed yet. SmartScreen warns about any installer without a certificate, regardless of what it contains. Choose More info, then Run anyway. A certificate is being issued; until then this warning is expected.

AI dictation on Windows

Qenzo has a Windows app, not just a phone keyboard. It waits in the tray; you hold Control + Space or both Control keys, speak in any of 140 languages, let go, and finished text — punctuated, cleaned up, in whatever language you chose — is typed into the window you were already working in.

Download and what you get

One installer: Qenzo-Setup.exe, 104 MB, version 1.1.16 (published 10 September 2026), for Windows 10 and Windows 11 on 64-bit. It installs for the current user, so Windows does not ask for an administrator password, and you can choose the folder. Afterwards Qenzo is in the Start menu, on the desktop if you asked for a shortcut, and in the tray next to the clock.

SmartScreen will warn you, and here is why

The Windows installer is not code-signed yet. A certificate is being issued; until it is, SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC” and hides the Run button behind More info → Run anyway. We would rather write that down here than have you meet it unprepared: it is a statement about a missing certificate, not about what the installer does. The file always comes from qenzo.ai, over HTTPS, at the address above.

How it works once it is running

Hold a key and speak. Control + Space by default, or hold both Control keys, or your own hotkey.
Let go. The finished text is typed into whichever window had the cursor: Outlook, Teams, Slack, a browser field, Word, Notepad, PowerShell, an IDE.
Speak one language, send another. The spoken language and the written language are separate choices, 140 each way, picked per dictation rather than set once.
Tone, recipient and role — seven tones, eight kinds of recipient, 100 professions — chosen by you, and changeable afterwards: pick another tone and the text you already have is rewritten without dictating it again.

How this differs from the voice typing already in Windows

Windows 10 and 11 have voice typing built in, on Win + H, and it transcribes: it types roughly what it heard, in the language you spoke, and you tidy it up afterwards. Qenzo finishes the message instead — the filler and false starts are gone, the punctuation is done, the result can be in a different language from the one you spoke, and it can be written for a particular reader in a tone you chose. It is also re-checked against the recording, so names and numbers get corrected rather than guessed, and the raw transcript stays available.

The same account as on your phone

Sign in on Windows with the account you use on the Android keyboard or the iPhone keyboard and your personal dictionary, tone, recipient, author role, history and notes are already there. Neither device requires the other.

What Qenzo on Windows does not do

It is not offline. Recognition and writing happen on Qenzo's servers, so it needs a connection. The recording is never written to disk.
It is not a keyboard. The layouts, offline suggestions and autocorrect belong to the phone keyboard; on a PC you already have a keyboard, so the desktop app only does the speaking half.
No 32-bit build, no ARM build, no web version. The installer is x64.
